@keritako Because you don’t want to use batter or a coating for chicken wings; it’ll cause the coating to get soggy.
Frying the chicken “naked” like this causes the skin to crisp to give it a gentle, yet nice crunch, and holds the sauce much better.

I love making and eating these. Why no flour batter for the wings? I always use Frank’s too. Frank’s hot sauce is so addicting, it’s drinkable
