@metcalfejoanna well you can make it yourself and but as you said, it is hard work that I prefer to skip if I don’t have to! Mais, you should be able to find regular marzipan in some store in Tokyo, then you just have to you roll it out yourself. Bonne chance! Love it! I am obsessed – time to make one and try it for myself! Living in Tokyo so will search out some swedish shops to see if the green marzipan is available… unless I can make it? A little hard work?

@k1mk1mk1m I’m glad you like it! Oui, the sponge cake is available in a Swedish store in Paris called Affären, 17, rue Duperrè. Unfortunately I don’t know about any Swedish store in Grenoble. Next episode will be recorded here in Sweden which is where I will be for the summer. See you in the show!

Superbe vidéo! That’s my favourite cake in Sweden and I want to follow your recipe to make it here in France (Grenoble). Do you know if that sponge base you take out of the oven is available in shops in France? (I have no oven in my room so it’d be great if I could find something like it.) I had a look around Carrefour and Casino but couldn’t find anything like it.
