Have you ever tasted burned rice and wondered why it happened? You may come up with a possible reason, like you were on the phone, you did not put sufficient water in the pot, or you were next door for a while. This would never be a part of your story if a rice cooker from Breville was in your possession. It’s a leader in kitchen appliances with a great many products offered at mouth watering, affordable prices. It has been sold to millions of households, world over.

@xxJunaixx Why not try to make it? Some of the ingredient should be available in supermarket already. Stuff like Salmon Onigiri doesn’t require anything special. Even if some stuff is missing you still can experiment by substitute it with something else

@eyin90 I appreciate all the advice from everyone here …now its time to make rice balls. XD

@dsrtpunk or, you could wash the rice thoroughly only once to keep the starch in the rice. then add just a quarter or half a cup more than your usual amount of water to the rice. your rice will end up sticky, usually. if it’s mushy, you’ve added too much water.
I usually use long grain to make onigiri with tuna, avocado and lettuce stuffing, or shredded fried chicken.

@dsrtpunk Just thought I’d add my two cents to maybe answer your question. It is my understanding that you need a certain kind of rice, informally called ” sticky rice” to form the rice balls. Minute rice won’t work (if your a minute rice person like me). And fillings can be anything you like, the fillings in the vid are just traditional to japanese rice balls. The seaweed wrap isn’t necessary either, it just adds an aesthetic feel and to help keep your hands sticky rice free. Did that help?

I’m Hispanic and rice is a big staple diet…so my question is. Can I use regular white rice or other rice? And the fillings can be anything that complements rice and is the dryed seaweed wrap nessesary? Please answer in detail.
